Motors TV heads up
Discussion
I'm glad it came across on TV well, we were sat at Quarry and had the unusual luxury of a huge screen with a live feed. The production seemed to be pretty good and they caught all the major action.
Mighty Minis + Castle Combe never fail to deliver as a combination, superb. Atmosphere was incredible as well, crowd nowhere near as big as last weekend but still very impressive for a club event.

Popped up for the afternoon and was glad I did, some great racing in the FF and saloons.
The big screens at Quarry and Camp spoiled us, a great way to see all the action, they'll be missed at the next meeting.
Anyone hear if Prebble picked up a penalty for a jump start in the second race? Would be a great overall win for Nick if he did.

was at this meeting and would just like to comment on a) the fantastic racing provided by all the categories and b) the EXCELLENT value for money from Castle Combe. We decided to go to this instead of t-cars at thruxton because the support races (bar porsches) have poor grids and provide little excitement and also the HORRIFIC entry price. CC was half the price on the gate (£15 a ticket) compared to thruxtons £30 and provided much more excitement and was an excellent race day atmosphere. Long live club racing
