** Oulton 26th March**

For those that are planning on going tomorrow, I have just read signs giving the following road closures from 8am on the 26th:

A54 from the roundabout at Oakmere Road/ Chester Lane towards Oulton, this will affect those coming off at J18 M6.

A49 from it's junction with the A556 towards Oulton.

There are diversions in place but I did not see via where!

I was there yesterday, some impressive driving to climb like you did, your car was very nice too. I've not been to a BARC day before, the classic thunder was probably the highlight for me, some very nice cars and competitive racing.

Wish I'd read about the road closure earlier! Wonderful to be back at Oulton for the first time this season. Between Joss's charge in the Sunbeam, Paul Dobson's beautiful drifts in the RX7 and the manic power of that ex-Chris Hodgetts Sierra Cosworth, it was quite a day of racing. Wonderful.

Doesn't it just "look" wrong that Dobbo is there with a road car! Fair play he does drive the wheels off it but you have a load of Caterfields and then him drifting along with you!

P.S. Dobbo is one of the best and cleanest drivers I have ever raced against, we have had many a good scrap over the past couple of years
