To start the ball rolling..

Our first race is Oulton on 26th March with BARC Sports/Saloons , still need to scrub in some new tyres (which we dont have yet) and get a good dry Test in the car.
This season im driving a a newly refreshed , but older and less powerfull TVR and still haven't got to know it yet - so there's still a few things to sort out - and track time is what's really needed before the meeting.

Im not sure if the seat is a touch to tight as well, so im back at the gym hehe.

23rd April at Croft with the Northern Sports and Saloon Car Championship.

Whats left to do... Seriously....

1. Drop no.2 engine and gearbox in, plumbing etc
2. Construct new wiring loom, fit new dashboard
3. Source and install ignition system
4. Shake down car
5. Swap no.2 engine for No.1 engine that has still to be built

Overhaul trailer, fix all niggles,

Just the usual at this point in the year. Good luck all

Entering BRSCC OSS championship, first race is 9th April.

Still to do:-

1) Transponder, extinguisher, harnesses
2) Replace all wishbones
3) Get alignment done
4) Tyres fitted
5) Fix coolant leak (waiting on part)
6) Convert trailer to a covered trailer
7) Fit towbar

Nothing too worrying, but really hoping no.6 works out OK - hoping to do a trackday on 19th March to check the car out.

Dunc.

3rd April Mallory RGB

The new car is nowhere near ready we'll be lucky if it is out by mid season.

Last years car is still on the trailer after being checked over and put back on after Oulton last October.

Usual pre season safety checks, some bodywork repair and set up ready for testing March 17th.

Easy.... I just keep passing spanners and providing the coffeecoffee

Hi Daz, are you out in a RV8 Tussy then? I've just got a few bits and bats to do and then ready to test at Oulton on the 29th of March. If all goes well I may well enter the 30 min race before the 6 hour at Snett at the end of April.

Last Saturday was the first rally of the year for me and my team. Gearbox now out of the car and suspension off to be replaced as driver not happy.

Next rally is 5th of March in Cumbria, the Malcolm Wilson Rally.

Car is a Mk2 Escort with 2ltr Zetec and 6spd sequential.

ooooooo, proper car!!! Whats the plans for the CRX?

As stinkysteve, will be doing the NSSCC again, car hasn't really changed much since last year. New exhaust, bigger master cylinder, thats about it. Gonna try some wider tyres on the front, see if I can get more!

Brands Early May CSCC Tintops.

Its had a respray, new driveshafts, fluids changed, run on the dyno, loads of wiring jobs done and we now have a working pit lane limiter.

So shakedown at Llandow next week then all thats left is Stickers, wire up headlights, bleed brakes and scrub a set of tyres.

Im sure we will find plenty to do with the masses of spare time

absolutely no Idea.

The tuscan still has its engine in bits, and I've just trial fittted the 24v cossy in the taz. which then needs, wiring, headers, exhaust and not tpo mention gearbox choice... with a sequential box jsut sat there....

The TVR championsip doesnt start till may, but i Might do some cscc or nssc as well, but my main focus is the One off Spa Race in october... Going to run the tuscan in that one.. www.race-at-spa.comhehe

Graham would our Honda CRX be ok for this race? The GT Cup is at Spa that weekend - which we sponsor, and so we are going anyway - would be good to sneak a race in!!

16 April, 750MC Bikesports at Brands with our Speads RS06D:

We fitted a new floor over the winter so we’re aero testing at RAF Woodbridge, tomorrow, and testing, at Brands, in March.

Great news. It was such a treat watching Danny Winstanley in the Tuscan last year; brought back found memories of watching the full pack sliding out of Knickerbrook when I was a young lad. Will look you up in the paddock if we're in the same place at the same time. Best of luck getting the cars sorted!
