Recomend me a production class hillclimb championship
Discussion
Hi,
for several good reasons I will not be competing in the MGCC speed championship this year but using my road car and doing some (8ish?) events in a different chapionship.
I will be using an absolutely bog standard Boxster S (3.2). I realise it doesn't fit the class system particularly well and therfore won't be particularly competitive but, when it stood in for the MG a few times last year it did cause the odd surprise.
Can people recomend a championship where there will be some competitors in the class and a scoring system that is likely to suit. To give an idea - at Harewood i was on a pa with a Morgan +8 and slightly slower than a diesel Golf (!).
I live in Norwich so everywhere is far away but I'd rather not do a championship too far west. Its not too bad at 5am on a Sunday - I got to Harewood in less then 3 hours - but Gurston was a bit of a treck.
Thanks

More sprints than hillclimbs but this might help you find some more local events:

I live in Norwich and sprint in the Borough 19 events, great club and most of their sprints are not too far from home and membership allows you to join the AEMC championship as above. Check them out http://b19.tjgraphics.co.uk/
