Is the only way to get hold of a novice licence application form via the MSA "Go Racing" pack?

Me, my brother and a mate all want to do our ARDS tests this year. It seems a little wasteful for each of us to shell out £57 for a blue book, a dvd (which they can watch at my house!) and a load of photocopied pieces of paper.

The one useful thing in the pack is the novice application form. You don't seem to be able to download one from the MSA website. Has anyone managed to get hold of one of these from elsewhere?

I realise that we're going to have to get used to spending money like water, but it would be good to save a few pennies at this stage!

Cheers

Jim

I think you'll find you all need seperate go racing packs/applications.

Hi, ... Yes, you will need to order three individual ones to have the forms, which are numbered! If you want to save some money, have a look at this, it may be of interest, .. www.teessideraceschool.com

Is the MSA "Go Racing" kit only valid for a year or longer? my reasoning being that the MSA Blue book probably changes each year?

I am building a race car but realistically it probably wont be ready till early 2012.

No you can use earlier Go Racing Packs, all you have to do is change the date and the licence fee on the blue form that's in the pack. The 2011 National B Licence fee is £53. You'll receive the latest copy of the Blue Book with your licence. If in doubt you can confirm this by calling the MSA Competition Licencing deptartment on 01753 765050
