Hello,

is anyone on here a member of the Oxford MC. I live local to Oxford and am thinking of popping along to its next evening in the hope of meeting up with like minded people, who are into cars, or compete, or fix em, talk about em, that kind of thing.

Can you even do that kind of thing or do you have to be invited, masonic handshake n all.

Or is it full of handle bar moustached old boys talking about trialling their austin 7, or going on scatters etc.

I'm looking to build up a bit of a social network in the area and thought this might be a good place to start?

I have also been toying with joining OMC as of recent. I have had a quick look round their wesite and it looks good. They seem to be keen and do alot of events.
I am currently a member of Witney Motor Club and I have enjoyed their events over the past 12 months.
Let me know if you do join as I am tempted to as well.

nice one, it would be good to know i am not the only newbie there, may do some investigation this week and turn up on their club day.
