Can I ask what rim widths you are running?
I've acquired a car with what I believe are F3 wheels... 8" front and 10" rear I think and I'm lost with trying to find tyres for it!
The current ones are the Dunlop Clubman slick, 170/510/13 front, 210/570/13 rear, but they seem expensive and if there is a suitable alternative to inherit from the big boys, that would be a lot easier! The only problem being the notation, no other manufacturer seems to offer the combination that the car has fitted at the moment.

Apologies for the hijack, very interested in wet tyre recommendations as well!

Try Formula Renault Michelins they are for 8 and 10 inch rims and reasonably soft, wets are good. Or F3 tyres (Cooper now) should be plenty of either available cheap

We use Avon A15 (I think) wets on our F3 car - 15 minute races.

180/550R13 and 250/570R13 on 8" and 10" wheels. Or is is 8.5"? Or 10.5"? I have a sneaky suspicion that one of them is a half inch number. But that doesn't make much difference, and I doubt a normal human being (i.e. one that won't get to F1) would notice any difference.

I use a medium compound cooper tyre, 180/550 and 250/570 13 on a caterham in the modified sports series. Car weight 500kg with 8" and 10" rims. They are fine for 15 mins plus 1 lap race, although another guy i think uses softer compound tyres and gets a better start! but seems to go off the boil 75% of the race distance complete.

If you need a good 2nd hand set give me a shout i have both wets and slicks.
