Cracked Windscreen

The forum search is broken again so I apologise if this has been covered before (I would guess it has).
When I was sat in the assembly area before qualifying at the weekend I noticed a crack in my windscreen. It originated from a chip in the centre of the screen at the bottom and spread upwards. I hadn't noticed it when cleaning the car so I suspect it cracked in transit or something, but it didn't get any bigger throughout qualifying or the races. It's about 10cm tall and a hairline crack you can only feel on the outside.
Does anyone know how this will sit with scrutineering or what the requirements are for such a thing?
