just turn the sensitivty up to max ,9 I think ? & set the overlap (to stop you picking mutiply timers) to just under your shortest lap time ie 40 for lydden hill

What's blanking?? Also, do you have to point it in a particular direction? What is the best place to position the sensor??

I think I've worked out the blanking bit - is that what you were talking about of 40 seconds?!

Where is the best place in the car to position the sensor? Obviously if the pit wall is on the left/right of the car will determine what side the sensor is, but I can't quite see the best place? I assume it will see through glass?

Is it best to position it in the rear quarterlight or something then?

If not, then where! If it doesn't see through glass, then how the hell...?!!?!?

Ok cool - thanks for the help Andy/Rob?

I assume your rear window is glass? That is what I was thinking of.
