I am researching slicks to use on my race car.
I am running 15" wheels (currently 195/50-15 A048's).
Where is the best place to get them?
Tweeks quoted me £240ea for some Kumhos.
Sourcing a supply of second hand ones would be even better!

Me too! As Dobbo was using my last set of 15in slicks when he rolled his XR3I up Clay Hill in the NWSS i would be interested to know of any that are available. Mine were 180/610/15 Dunlops!

I don't mind showing it, but Dobbo might!
Windy, can you ask him if he minds me putting it up?

It's my on-board footage btw.

Lots of racers in the TVR Dunlop challenge run 15" Dunlop slick,
They are around the low £100's each.

Are there any national series that run 15" slicks that you could get used ones from?

Whilst the wrong size for the OP, the Ginetta G50 series has been an excellent source of rubber for the club racing cars that we have run recently. Still plenty of life in them for next to no money compared to a new tyre.

Leigh,
My last two sets cost an average of 160 squids per tyre including VAT.

What sized rubber do the Ginetta Junior BTCC cars run? Surely there must be some of those available 2nd hand with plenty of "club life" left in them ..... A bit of time with a heat gun and a scraper will reveal plenty of usable life in most slicks cast off from front running single make series cars.
