I posted this, originally, in General Gassing but didn't get the answers I need so thought I'd post it here as well.

We need to have an exclusive hire of a Kart track for two days somewhere between Birmingham and Manchester around November time.

Anyone here own/run a track in that sort of area or have a contact for one?

No one wants to return calls or emails.

Cheers.

One of our guys has tried just about every track going. No one wants to ring back. He's left loads of messages and sent emails but got no replies. Hence the request for a personal contact at a track.

I know it isn't geographically in the correct part of the country, but I can arrange 2 days for you at Teesside Autodrome, Middlesbrough, which is the longest Kart track in the UK. It is just under two hours to drive there from the south side of Manchester, & we will answer your calls & queries. HTH Howard

Thanks for that Howard. I'm out of the country now for a couple of weeks. I'll pass the info on when I get back.

What about Curborough?

34 minutes from the centre of Birmingham, according to Google Maps. I know they rent it out, because I've been there twice on private rental days.

Have you tried Donington Park? Yes I know the main circuit is still being recommissioned by the new owners but I understand that there is a Kart rack marked out on the site of the Sunday market near the old (pre war) full length Melbourne loop. They held a Drifting event there very recently.
