A great day out in the sunshine today at Shelsley, a friend was running his Porsche powered Lola and I also managed to double the value of my old 911 by getting Derek Bell to sign a bit of it! Totally decent bloke.

Great pictures there cool I missed Saturdays meeting but went today. There was a storm at lunch though so I decided not to stay, there was some great runs in the morning though. Those Goulds and Pilbeams are fantastic bits of kit.

Was at Shelsley today, helping push/polish/fall over the Farley Special Mk 2, one of the Shelsley Special's. I was told Mr Bell did a 33-and-a-half up the hill in that Bentley. Is that true, 'cos it's a helluva time for a car of that size and weight, even if it had been breathed on.

Yup, that's the time I saw on the second run smile

The car isn't breathed on, that's one of the press demonstrators and is totally stock. Although 621bhp and 590lbft tends to overcome most weight issues!

Sunday was very eventful!

Trevor Willis' engine decided to expire right in front of me!

There was a massive accident involving Graham Wynn too, he's ok though fortunately.
