No, our MR2 has failed its MOT frown

And the course is only 600m? Doesn't seem like a lot for the price they're charging.

I reckon you could dispense with the batteries and spool out 600m of cable...

ME!! I'm competing on Sunday, in my 205 GTi rally car. Car 48. Due to the way sprint classes are organised, I'm not going to be very competitive, but as long as I beat the 2CV I'll be happy.

We're treating it as a fun day out for friends and family....

Come and say hello - this is what the car looks like

OK - it looks like any other white 205 GTi doesn't it??

Well THAT was a really enjoyable event. I met my objective of beating the 2CV and managed to improve my time by a few tens on each run. Final result was 9th in class out 11 and 56th quickest on Sunday out of 95 or so. Not bad for a standard ish 205 1.6 on road tyres??

Busa turbo - well done mate! you were FTD on Sunday weren't you?

Any action photos anybody?

Cheers
Duncan

Well done Duncan, and to everyone who made the effort to come, just the shear scale of the event, and to have spectators at a sprint is a bit of a novelty, made the entry fee worthwhile even though the runs seemed to be over in a flash.
Finished 33rd overall on Monday myself which I was quite pleased with as I was running on Michelin wet tryes.

Thanks from the organisers are also due to all the competitors who made the whole event so interesting, fun and in some cases almost too exciting!

Yes, very well done Duncan - a great result and nice video too.
