you got a 5.9 from the Russian judge for that one lol
was there cheering a couple of mates in the swinging sixties class although last coupe of years one of my mates has run in the RAFMSA too (Raz, you know him?)
good racing and great weather, especially for what is often Angle-in-the-sea...

Will be sorting out my photos today. Its a long trek from Anglesey to Norwich, especially in a race truck!
In terms of our races, we were quite pleased. Two pole positions, one win, one second, two fastest laps (both establishing new lap records) Race two was marred by a startline collision which brought out a safety car that was driven too slowly for single seaters without cooling fans.
The purpose of a safety car is to allow marshals to perform a quick recovery of a stricken car, but neither recovery vehicle they scrambled could lift a single seater, so the safety car remained out until a tractor was found which could lift the car onto the back of the transporter. Pretty shambolic if you ask me!
Sadly it meant that the 15 minute race became a five minute sprint.
