Race Preparation in Kent / Essex

I wonder if the collective minds of PH can help / suggest ideas for our challenge.
Come the start of next season a new 'team' I'm involved in will have a number of race cars running in various series (all National / budget end of racing). These will include cars for the CSCC Tin Tops & Future Classics series, Canon Tin Tops and a Fun Cup car.
We currently (only) run two cars but have tools, trailers, an ace mechanic and a small space to work on the cars. Our mechanic works out of his home garage and preps the cars in his spare time. Next year the number of cars will be at least four, maybe more; and our challenge is to decide whether to:
- rent a Unit and set up a proper race prep business; preparing our cars, customers cars and insurance work,
- or should we contact an existing team in the Kent/Essex area (the type who run in Clubbie racing - not International level) and pass them the cars, along with the resource of our mechanic. The idea being the team would gain a skilled employee and our cars would be prepped with minimum additional outlay from us.
I realise there are pro's & con's to both, but suggestions / thoughts/ tips would be appreciated; along with any suitable names of teams in Kent / Essex who are looking for more work!

Me and my Brother run a car, in the TVR challenge.
Due to space problems we acquired a 2100 SQ Foot barn + a raised office, this was going to be shared, but the 3rd party is no longer interested. so are looking for other options to sub let / share, my brother also repairs bikes, he also has a part time job, and I have a full time job. The barn is near Ongar in Essex
