The Aston Martin Owners Club are celebrating their 75Th Anniversary this weekend, with their St.John Horsfall race meeting.Highlights will be the David Ellis prepared/ designed and raced GT700R,which will start from the pitlane with a starting handicap in the Intermarque race.David Freeman will be out with the famous Jock Horfall Spa Special 2 litre Speed model (firm favourite to win the Pre War race) and Tony Armstrong returns with his fearsome supercharged , methanol powered "Green Monster",(Tony has also volunteered to have a starting handicap, but from the back of the grid in the St.John Horsfall race).
There will be cars starting with "Green Pea", from the early 1920s all the way up to a good grid of the new GT4s (new racing V8s).smilesmilecloud9

I'd love to be attending but VSCC at Oulton has stolen my time. The GT700R was absolutely mighty last year. Shame that and the Marsh Plant V8 both retired from the Super GT race but wathing them both through Copse was mega. I'm sure it'll be a fantastic day's racing.

We only had 15 minutes notice that the DBRS9 could run, it was ready to be put back in the trailer after friday testing. Just as well he did manage to get it let in, the GT4 was a bit worse for wear after its race!
