Desperate to do some Auto-solo in the North(ish) of England!
Discussion
As above really - I'm an absolute novice, but I've got an ideal car, and I really fancy having a go at Auto-solo for some cheap giggle.
My problem is - all the motor clubs that are pushing it seem to be down south - I'm based in Leeds, so looking for some events a bit further up - anywhere between Birmingham and Scotland would be much better!
I'm doing a lot of googling on the subject currently, but can anyone help me?

regularly run Autotests and AutoSolos in and around Bolton area
There's one coming up in June at the Metro Centre too, but must admit I'm not sure who's running it.

Thanks to everyone who replied.
A bit of back story - I spent a lot of time a few weeks ago emailing pretty much every MSA registered club in the North of England.
I've since had tonnes of information back been really helpful.
I am indeed heading down to Hudderfield tonight to have a go at my first event - and am also aware of the event at the Metro centre.
I am also planning on doing some of the events in the NW over the coming months.
I've also got quite a few friends interested in it too from my local MX5 club.
Thanks for all the info!

Not sure who you MX5 guys were that turned up at the Huddersfield Autosolo last month (Messrs Harrison, Holehan, Morton etc.....?) but here's another cheap (free!) bit of motorsport fun from Slaithwaite Motor Club.

Do you have the contacts? I'm interested in going to watch and in having a go, probably next year now -Probably in Mrs Bodge's Fabia when she's not looking...snotrag said:
