If I order a T100 lap timer, do most/many/any tracks already have IR beacons that will work with it, or is the only choice to buy my own beacon too?

I've been on this page.....
The best thing to do is buy an Alfano lap timer that works off a magnetic strip set in the circuit tarmac. They are brilliant and VERY accurate.

Which circuits are you talking about?

I've raced at Mallory,Brands,Snetterton,Cadwell,Oulton pk and many more....

The Alfano works at them all..... It will work on trackdays in exactly the same way. Not that anyone would use one......as timing is prohibited.

Hi, I have a LT100 (Otto) Lap Timer and it works fine at Snetterton and having spoken to 'Mr Otto' himself was advised it will work at all UK circuits.

Hope this helps
