Hey y'all,

my Metro race car's been on a diet over winter to the tune of about 20kg. Is there a theoretical way to see what effect this would have on lap times?

Cheers

CarTest2000 has a demo applet here that includes track times:

Not sure how much you can do with the demo, but if you create two cars with identical parameters (as close to your car as possible) and make one of them 20kg lighter than the other you should be able to compare the differences in lap times.
