Wanted race mechanic(s) to work with R300 Caterham team SPY Motorsport at 3rd/4th April Silverstone race weekend (and testing on the Thursday 1st before). Jobs would include refuelling, spanner checks, setup adjustments, pitboard etc etc. Similar experience is desirable but not absolutely necessary. Could well suit a junior race engineer/student looking for CV experience. If all goes well there is a chance to work with the team at all race meetings this year, including Zolder.

Just get in touch through the address below and tell me a little bit about yourself, your experience and interests, and ask any questions you may have.

Where have all the college students, normally asking for experience gone?

Dunno. Maybe it sounds too much like work wink

Certainly a great opportunity for someone.

It would depend on experience. First weekend for somebody with limited experience would be expenses with discretionary pay, but we would not expect a more experienced engineer/mechanic to work for free.

I have filled the positions for Silverstone.

Have had plenty of good replies through both here and ten-tenths, so thank you to all that got in touch. I have tried to reply to everyone personally so if I missed someone (ultra-busy at the moment) then my apologies.
