Hi guys - any recomendations?

Car is Midget 1500 running in standard class of MGCC luffield championship.

Allowed max of 165 and any section. Wheel is 13 x 5. Currently running Dunlop 155 SP30s as these are what previous owner used.

Thanks

Chris

Or ask over on the HSA forum - www.hillclimbandsprint.co.uk

It will depend on whether you're allowed List 1A or List 1B I suspect.

Chris,

I ran a 1500 in the same series back in the early 00's - just for fun and not as well modded as it should have been. But was a good fun car to fling about and very very cheap motorsport. I can confirm that Firestone F530 Fuelsaver's ARE NOT the tyre of choice.. Can't recommend anything different but be careful of the tyre wall size if the car is lowered - my tyres used to rub the wheel arches. www.camskills.co.uk should give you a decent choice.

Depending on how the move to the UK goes I hope to do a couple of rounds later in the season, so may see you then. Would be good to see the car - have you got the bumper irons out??

Thanks for the info.
List 1A or 1B seems a bit confused at the moment but I recon we'll end up 1A. Hope so.
Dan - Picture of me and the car at Prescott on my profile (don't know how to post pics). Would be good to race against you later in the year! There are a few 1500s planning to play this year.

The standard class will definitely run on list 1A, as do RGM "A" I think. My Midget is long sold, but may appear in a ZR / ZS - depends on what's available next week.
