Links for the Teifi Stages 2010. Not for the fainthearted!!
Discussion
Hi, this is my first posting of an event on Pistonheads, but it's one that you really ought to consider for 2010.
I will try to post a couple of links, but first let me briefly describe this event.
The Teifi Stages is a circular hillclimb that represents a budget priced entry level form of motor sport which is open to all. Success is not about how much the car cost, more about the driver's skills to negotiate a fabulous tarmac track which is very demanding and enormous fun. The event needs your support and in return for your participation you will meet an enthusiastic group of petrolheads who will be happy to help and support you.
I entered it for the first time last year. I had about 10 runs, each of which are over 4 miles in length. I finished 8 of them, broke down once and left the track to graze the grass with the sheep once. Everyone was friendly and supportive of a novice. Many of the entrants are experienced and very quick. For a look at one very rapid run try Youtube and type in Teifi Stages Mad Dog Colin Griffiths. Once youve seen that clip there are others to click on including a nice Mk2 Escort run (if you are that way inclined).
The website for all the info is www.teifistages.co.uk
If you want anymore information please try to contact the website in the first instance or drop me a line and I will do my best to answer any questions.
