Yikes! Medical needed before ARDS on Saturday?
Discussion
IIRC you can do the test and pass, but they'll not sign it untill its got the medical stamp. Thats what happened back when i took mine...
but they'll usually record a pass and when you take it back with the medical filled in they'll sign it.
failing that there are a few harley steet docs in the back of the blue book ( available online) that'll usually do it at short notice $$$$'s though

Thanks - not very clear to me whether you need to just complete the form or actually have the medical stamped, but sounds like you guys have been OK. I'll try to get a medical sorted tomorrow, or maybe phone them up to find out for sure in advance.
Cheers

You don't have to have the medical before your ARDS test, but it is always advisable. You should have given me a shout, I do ARDS tests up at Teesside & have a doctor on site to do the medical at a reduced rate. Just let me know if I can be of help. Where have you booked your test????
Best regards, Howard

Can you remember any questions?
I have got mine next wednesday!
Only one, which I thought was utter genius:I have got mine next wednesday!
"Contact between competing cars is:
a) To be expected, this is racing after all
b) Good entertainment for the crowds
c) Absolutely to be avoided - motor racing is a non contact sport
d) Forbidden in single seaters but acceptable in saloon racing"
Or something along those lines. You get the idea. Learn the flags, watch the DVD a couple of times, and you should be fine.
HTH, good luck.

Yes, I`ve been looking for dates to do my test, and lost use of smilies for some reason. Good to see them back now
