I am absolutely fuming with an organisation that I can only describe as useless.
In the middle of December I ordered a 'Go Racing' pack. It was meant to be a present from my wife for Xmas. On 21st December it still hadn't arrived so I called to chase it up. I spoke to a very helpful bloke who said he would send another. Then on 28th December still nothing, so I called again. I was told that the couriers had lost the second one and a new one was being sent that day. So I waited. And waited. And waited. Last week, 6th January, I called again. I was told the very same thing, and they were going to put another one in the post!!!
We are now up to 4 packs that have allegedly been sent out to me.
I call today to chase the fourth one up and was told that numbers 2,3and 4 were not sent. They only ever sent the first- which was lost.
I am now at the point where I do not believe or trust a word that I am being told. I have asked that the pack be taken to Autosport where I will collect it in person. This I was told would be organised, and I would get a call back before 5pm this evening to confirm.
Guess what??? No call!!!
What a useless group.
I can understand packs going missing, but to be lied to on a number of occasions, and then not have the courtesy to follow up on promised phone calls is in my book disgraceful.
If they were a gas or electric company I would now be looking to take my business elsewhere.
Unfortunately I am stuck with them, and what's more I am going to have to call them again tommorow, probably to hear more false promises.

That's right, you can. In fact the lady I spoke to yesterday suggested I do such a thing, despite the fact I have already paid the MSA.
I have had to cancel two medicals due to it not arriving- i'm not booking another until it's in my hand.
I was also planning on doing my test at the beginning of Feb........ not likely!

Sounds like you have been unlucky, and badly treated.
Dont want to rub salt in the wound but I ordered mine Christmas eve, online from MSA, it was delivered registered post before new year. Excellent service I thought.

That is salt in the wounds.
I ordered mine over the phone, thinking that I was going to get a better service!
I'm just about to put the call in to see if they will take it to ASI on Friday. Fingers crossed.

Demon Tweeks will have one in your hand tomorrow. Might as well give them a call (or even do it online).

I know, and I have been past Tweeks several times over the last few weeks.
Anyway, they are taking one for me to collect on Friday.

Sounds like some bad luck, but I've never had an issue with licencing, don't think it's common, and to be fair - it's about their busiest time..

Good luck with the ARDS.
It's nothing to fear and is pretty straight forward. Don't do anything silly on track (like spin or put a wheel on the grass) and you'll sail through.

What do you want to race in this year?
