What license is required for British GT and Britcar?

International C and Nat B respectively, and it's a licence.

stupid question but what licence do you get once you pass the ards test?whats the criteria for other licence.Is it just experiance? No Flack please Im human.

You get a Nat B after the ARDS. to upgrade to a National A you need six signatures on your Nat B licence.
To upgrade to an International C you need further signatures on your Nat A, 6 again IIRC.
There are other grades of international licences but I don't know how you go about getting them.

Slightly off topic but its about time britcar, certainly the 24hr was upgraded to a national A...

You upgrade the licences by getting signatures for finishing races that require a certain licence level. international A may also require you to finish at a certain position or higher, and you need to compete in races at that licence level to renew the licence,

for nat b/a and int c you can just renew every year without competing.

Oh yes and the higher levels of licence cost more !!!
