I bought some FIA racing harnesses that had no visible logos' - but passed on all the invoices when I sold the car - and cannot recall or find the name of the supplier - does anyone know who supplies debadged belts?

Nobody that I know of.

Part of the FIA standard is that they have dates (life of the belt) on them.

I have a lovely 6-point Scroth harness, used about half a dozen times. Dead at the end of 2008.

I had a set of FIA TRS harnesses that were 2001 or 2002, but back then they didn't put a date on them, and even though you get a 10 year life, they were declared illegal as they didn't have an expiry date.

I'm with Mr Belmont here, (ooooeeer) Had to be done.

These days all belts WILL display an END Date. If not then they have tampered with, and are therefore are illegal.

Get a new set of Belts and then you will be OK for 5 years, or so (bastids) Hell I ad to sacrifice a good set this year due to protocol. sense will never be seen.

More recently wasn't there a spate of Chinese fake belts doing the rounds with no labels..? Seem to recall reading about that somewhere just can't place where sadly.

As has been said all new FIA belts will have dates. No dates, no race..

Thanks for your thoughts. These belts were bone fide and had all the labels - they just did not have the manufacturers name on the shoulder straps.

Sorry, missed your point there - what colour are they? 4-5-6 point?

I don't know for sure, but maybe if you went to a belt manufacturer they could sort some belts out without the logos on them.
These guys make FIA belts, might be worth a call,

Willans will do custom harnesses so I suspect they'll do them debadged if you want

my preference for harnesses is willans too, I dont sell anything else..

Ahhh yess. Read, then re-read the original post....

Willans and OMP do them IIRC - one wouldn't want the shocking manufacturer's log on them in one's 250GTO would one!

In fact, give TRS a shout, they may do them also, and their belts run in a little cheaper than the others.
