Hello Guys,

When do all the clubs release their dates for the next year normally? Anyone know of any meetings that happen early in the year?

Cheers

Well, dates will be being put together now, I suppose. The CSCC have released their PROVISIONAL calendar here: http://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/documents/20...

Nothing too early, though.

Most dates are pretty fluid until the Autosport International show when dates are usually notified as firm. Some are not fixed until Feb.

The circuits often list the dates when there will be meetings, what they'll be will be pot luck - other than the major series like BTCC, GT/F3.

Ours (MGCC) are a bit up in the air until after the GP is sorted as we are usually at Sillystone in June/July. Other than that I'd expect the rest to be more or less decided by the end of this year

Hi Joe,
"Who is Diz?" here" Long time no speak.
Don't book any holidays, or race school work until after the Autosport Show. Any "Provisional" dates are just as it says on the tin, "Provisional".
What happens is Bernie changes a date, or TOCA, F3/GT, Superbikes etc. This has a knock on effect all the way up and down the fixtures.
E.g.
1. 750MC were due at Silverstone, but TOCA decide they want that date.
2. F3/GT then kick off as they think a clash will cause problems with their planned meeting that weekend.
3. So BARC thus lose their clubbie at Oulton, as F3/GT are now going there a week later to avoid the TOCA clash.
4. A grass roots bike race gets shuffled off Mallory's calendar to get BARC's replacement date clubbie in.
etc.
etc.
Then everybody publishes revised Provisional dates.
Then another change with knock on effects happens and the whole thing starts all over again.

So just be patient and you'll be out racing somewhere in March, or April - maybe.
