Parking In The Paddock At Brands - LMA This Weekend
Discussion
Im down at Brands this weekend working with 2 teams racing in the LMA Euro Saloon double header, question I've got is when I arrive can I park my car down in the paddock as Im staying all weekend or do I need some kind of pass? Last time I went to Brands I was being asked to pay to get in

If you are working with 2 teams then they will have been given passes to get people and cars in. I'd hope that they wouldn't make you pay to get in to help them, but car passes tend to be limited so they might use them for themselves / family. Up to the competitors really.
Unless you are super lazy, and can't be bothered walking, park with Joe Public. It always amazes me the number of people that seem to want to "show off" their P&J on race days in the paddock. It just ends up cluttering up the place, and there is always the real danger of something happening too it that your insurance wont (officially) cover. I've seen examples over the years of doors and wings of cars getting whacked with jack handles, race cars with limited rear vision parking in quarter panels, and on one occasion as snapped winch cable sending a Vento race car rolling into someones spanking new 5 Series, and "doing" both doors and the B/C post!!!

Can't say for sure, but my plan is:
1) Entry ticket already passed on to me
2) Turn up early (it will get busy)
3) Use the Paddock entrance down the back road, not the main entrance
4) If matey on the gate requires a vehicle pass, call drives to bring it over.
5) Park up tight to the race car if I can.
If you have to buy an entry ticket and come in the main gate, it is possible to blag your way into the Paddock
