Finally managed to get a camera on the car and get some footage!

Unfortunatly its only from 2nd practice, i was saving the camera batteries for the 'run offs' at the end of the day which the car didn't make it too due to a suspension failure.

Anyway, thought it might be of interest. The car is a Pilbeam MP88 with a Judd KV4, 685 bhp/450kg's. Top speed 189mph and it was getting uncomfortably close to it at the end of the day.

Thanks man, must admit though. I was getting a little bit uncomfortable going down that back 'straight' near the end of the day. Had a pretty big lift in the video but it was flat till just after the last kerb on the right once i was on it. Pretty much all the circuits we go to are around 165-175mph and the speed is never a problem, but that extra 10mph and a curve made things quite a bit more interesting!

Really it's an advert for sprinting/hilclimbing. For the price of a F430/GT3RS you can buy a car that is the fastest thing you can race on 4 wheels, apart from running a post 2000 F1 in Euroboss. Of course the running cost are more, and the circuit racer's will say that it's not real racing but it's still one hell of a rush and a great way to go very very fast!

I will do some hillclimbs/sprints before I go in my box, I know it wont be in anything that quick.

My Saab coupe may get stripped out, or I build something like a Spire/Radical with all the trimmings.

A few missed apex's unfortunatly, it's a tricky track though. Unsuprisingly these F1 boys make it look easy!

Demo laps at knockhill, 171mph under the bridge. 3 secs slower than Nathan Kinich in an ex barrichello 2003 ferrari F1, could take a second/maybe 2 out of it if i was racing but im sure he could have too.

I've got some good footage from outside the car i'll get up if i can figure out how to get it off a dvd and onto the net.
