Glad to see the guy in the Caterham / Westfield get out and walk away after it flipped at Quarry, he came down on the cage with a real bang.

Thought we were going to have another one on its roof when the Formula Ford's got together aswell later in the day.

Thinking about it, it was actually a pretty incident filled day, what with the saloons coming together at Folly.

One of the Formula Fours also went in quite hard on the first lap of their race - Lost it over the rise, and went left into the tyres at quarry.

Yes, I was right behind that when it happened! I didn't speak to him personally, but someone said he was ok. It did look a bit worrying as we were under a safety car for ages whilst they sorted things out and there was an ambulance at the scene for a while.

The Castle Combe forum has some excellent photos of the day. There's a fantastic one of me there in the wet too; probably the best photo I've seen of me racing so far. I can't seem to access it at the moment though, it seems to be down.

yes a few of us regular users of the Combe forum Have i have 2 of the saxo that half rolled during Qually if you know the driver i'll be more than happy to forward them by email
