Racewear Question

Hi,

Can anyone advise me of what gloves/boots and underwear would be a requirement to race in the Sports2000 (open sports) series?

Do they need to conform to a certain FIA standard like the racesuits do?

As long as your racesuit and helmet complies you will have no problem. I am sure there is no requirement for underwear and in open cars hands and feet should be covered but there is no need for gloves and boots to be to FIA standard.
Good luck in your race on Sunday, are you testing on Friday?

Of course, having said that, if the MSA requires them to be to FIA standard in the future, you could save yourself a few sheckels by paying the extra for FIA spec ones now.

@ Wanstead: Yep I'll be testing tomorrow - early start for me in the morning as I've got to come down from Liverpool but really really looking forward to it now!
