The stuff i have read about Formula V makes it sound like a competitive championship and with a cheap budget compared to other single seater racing,So this will be your first season,Have you got all your pit crew, trailer etc sorted out.

What type of chassis is used?Mygale?Van diemen?Or its own independent championship chassis?

I'm doing an arrive/drive with GAC, who make their own chassis - As all the circuits are at least 300 miles south of me (and that's Oulton Park), it was the only way to go...I too had heard that the racing was close and clean - I'm a bit long in the tooth for the wheel banging stuff.....

Well, just finished the Snetterton metting, and I have to say I was impressed. The car is really nice to drive, the drivrrs race hard but fair, and it's not going to break the bank. Highly recommended.

I was there taking photos, seemed like a really good turnout on all the events. Golf GTIs were particularly amusing.

Looked like there were a lot of Vees out though, was a damn good race!

Hi mate. Not any other Vee racers on here as far as I can tell. We all hang out here...

http://www.veecentre.com/

Although they are not a very talkative lot. Glad you had a good first race. I couldn't make it to Snett as I was anticipating a house move which didn't happen. frown Looking forward to Combe next month. The Vee centre is also a good place for links to photo's etc. Check out the gallery.

From what I heard the grids were down a lot on last year. The Vee's usually have to hold a heat to sort the grid out for the final.

It is considering the economic climate. We had 50 at Silverstone last year!!
