Powernights! Top draw, All at Silverstone, 3 or 4 test sessions throughout the day. Qualifying then two races. Paddock BBQ, Music etc. Evening Motorsport. The idea is people come after work to watch the racing. Loads of differant cars, old and new. Each race 10 mins. FFords, Caterfields, Radicals, Saloons.... All sorts...

Double headers as well - second race is a reverse grid from the finishing order of the first!

MR2 race from this year's event - on a Thursday evening!:

10 minute races! Hardly worth getting your arse in the car! Not for me - I want longer races next year not shorter.

Don't knock it until you've tried it Jon - honestly it is very good, I thoroughly enjoyed the one I did in 2007 and was disappointed to miss out this year.

true just not for me. 10 mins is Soooo short or all the travel involved and prep. yep I know you get 2 but your average clubby is 15 - 20 anyway.

As we discussed longer for me next year (have 2 all Triumph Invitational 30 min races to win wink) + hopefully 3 or 4 Swinging Sixties (40 mins)(that will be enough for next year, get the Monster built Top priority).

The races are a bit short but you get a lot track time during the day. It's a good day...
