Who was racing this?

Went to Silverstone this weekend to watch the FF's and obviously spotted the PH car.

Good racing all round, pity it was quite so damn cold!

I was racing, or should I say freezing my tits off, in it - what a miserable day's weather. My first race in November and am thinking this racing malarkey should stay as a summer sport smile

Very dissapointed by the lap times too, just couldn't get the grip down under acceleration and a little tweak of toe-in on the rear managed to help, but not enough to catch the quick two. Though a podium in the first race and fifth in the second means I finished 3rd overall in the Winter Series.

Well done you. Those Ginetta's are a close field.

Was there someone else racing too?

It was good racing. Quite a few off's for the FF's. Couldn't believe them pushing the car around a corner after the back straight. 2 people almost hit them!

I was at the WHT as well. Horrible greasy conditions all weekend, as well as the testing on Thursday and Friday.

Talking to the Avon tyre people, a lot of the slippiness came from the release agent on the 200 odd stes of tyres the FF1600 boys used.

Connor Daly, the eventual winner used 9 sets of tyres over the course of the meeting. We had 3 sets of new one available to use, but kept to the same set all weekend as there was virtually no discernable wear as it was so low grip. We ran the car probably 30% softer than we have ever run it before to try and get some traction.
