Does anyone know if this is still banned? I know it was legal a few years back, was banned, then i saw a car in the paddock with it installed around 2 years ago.

Blue book seems a little confusing (shock horror).
Anyone know of any cars running it last season or planning to for next?

ive always took it as still banned. im sure blue book states 'only oxygen to be mixed with fuel' so that irradicates other agents such as nitrous.
Nic Manns old turbo'd Moggy Minor ran nitrous 'back in the day' before it was banned.

It has been explicitly banned since I started competing (around '98) and probably well before that. I'm not aware of it ever having been permitted in recent years.

I.55 applies and is explicit about banning alternative oxidants, at least as far as the classes it covers:

Blue Book said:
55. For Road-Going Production, Road-Going Specialist Production, Modified Production and Hill Climb Super Sports Cars, pump fuel is mandatory. Only air may be mixed with the fuel as an oxidant.
Note that I.56 which applies to other clategories does not appear to impose the same restriction. I wouldn't fancy turning up with NOS and arguing the point with a scrutineer however.

Blue Book said:
56. For Sports Libre and Racing Cars, only pump fuel or methanol may be used. When using methanol, the addition of 10% by volume of Propanone is allowed (Note C(b)-19).
No mention of oxidants at all.
