Hi,
I live in the midlands and am looking for somewhere to test our hillclimb single seater in the next couple of weeks. Curborough is available this Thursday but I'm going to struggle to get everything together in time. Does anyone know of other tracks/sprint locations in the area where I could get some reasonable time to learn our new car!

Thanks in advance

one or two larger outdoor karting tracks will allow use for hill/sprint cars by the hour or the afternoon. not exactly the nurburgring, but then cur-bog-horror isnt either.
one of the tracks pretty local to me at Rednal airfield nr Oswestry, actually had times scribbled on the wall of various non-karts, jedis, OMS, bike engined 7types, up to 911turbos and BMW CSLs!!
the final bits are a tad tight to do 'laps' but given that your cars only dinky and we dont lap in sprints and hills anyway, its not a bad option.

will mallory let you run with a speed licence or do you need a race licence?

Thanks everyone... I've just spoken to Llandow, they can give us the circuit for the whole day next week for £120.. The lady did say there could be others testing but in reality they're not expecting anyone else... Hell of a trek but a good circuit and great offer to try our car. If anyone's interested I'll let you know how we get on, the new car is a bit different to the old one!

I know your sorted, but just to add, for Mallory you would need nat B, also if your not used to testing conditions Mallory can be an "interesting place". There approach to testing is very liberal, and very laid back - its a great circuit. But the only place, I've been out with single seaters and tin tops (including historics) at the same time!
