Hi, has anyone any experience of using a body wrap on their race car instead of a paint job? What are the costs, what about replacing a section after a bump etc etc?

not used it myself, but theres an intersting thread on one of the nissan forums showing a drag Mazda RX8 being done in a full wrap. starts off with all panles prepped for paint, but all different colours and various patches of primer/stopper/original paint, so a real hotch potch, but the finished effect is superb (although not my style)

can i post a link up?

will PM you the link anyway

had a bit to do with large format print consumables, and from what i understand, it would be easy enough to print a repair section for a ding-ed panel easy enough should the Armco get too attractive

There's a video of Colin White's "RAF Spirit of Adventure" ASCAR being wrapped here:

Call Toby at TVRFix - he has the full car (Griff) done up for the Company.
