I'm slopping around too much in the standard seat in my radical, but think that the seat wouldn't really lend itself to trying to fill the sides with foam - the sides are not high enough.
This stuff looks perfect, but they are based in the states, does anyone know a supplier in the UK that stocks this stuff or something similar?
cheers

We faffed around for years using 2 pack foam to make the traditional 'sit on a bin bag full of foam' type seat for our various formula fords.
We now buy foam sheets from Millets that are designed to put under your sleeping bag whilst camping. Its about 10mm thick and can easily be cut to shape, laminated together using spray adhesive and is pretty comfy. Once you have got the shape/thickness you are happy with, just cover it with black tank tape for that special 'homemade bodge job that you must have in a racecar' look.
Its also easy to make a secondary seat to fit on top of the original foam seat for a smaller driver if required.
Seriously, cheaper than foam and nicer to work with.
