Rockingham 27/28th Sept

So who was there? (apart from our commentator)
I was there for most of the weekend supporting my o/h in the Westfields. He finished forth, which is excellent for a track he had never driven.
Shame the racing was dull, hardly any overtaking. I watched a few races and everyone spread out, did this happen with all of the races?

I was there too (but then you knew that!). Darren (sylva41 on here) did well to come 4th in the Westfields although the race was a little processional after the first couple of corners. The other races I watched weren't much better to be honest; maybe it was the nature of the circuit?
I've put some photos up if anyone's interested.

you didnt watch the mini miglia race on saturday, lead changed 5 times
Hacky,Got to agree. Some of the races were a little boring, the circuit not helping. However the best race of the weekend was without question the Miglias. Quite how Ralph Saunders managed to go from 3rd to 1st under braking for Brook I'll never know. I was sure he was heading for an accident the gravel or soemthing else other than the tarmac.
Well done on claiming the championship again Andy, just a shame we had no commentator on the infield to do podiums on the Saturday and hear yet another one of your PC post race interviews!

You're right, we didn't. But all the races we did watch on the Sunday were dull....I was bored by own race and the whole field agreed! Why does the circuit promote the cars spreading out? You might have thought a long 'straight' followed by reasonable brake would do just the opposite. Gassing Station | UK Club Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
