Nat A Licence ?
Discussion
Unashamedly prompted by another PHer on General Motorsport forum, but here goes...
Up to now , i've had/finished 15 races but never got round to getting any upgrade signatures.
If i wanted to upgrade my NatB to NatA , would it be possible to get sort of "retrospective" approval by presenting MST timing results from the past races - showing my name and race number ?
Or would it be better starting afresh
Got a double header this weekend so now may the the time to start .

It does say within their notes that they will accept race results as proof for upgrading.
If you've got enough races left for the season and it's not going to hold you up not having a Nat A until you've completed those I'd just start now, and then if you don't make the 6 required by the time you need them give them all the results.
Probably easier for them to take results into consideration if you have at least some signatures on your upgrade card anyway.

Darren, I had that problem when I had to upgrade from Nat A to Int C in order to compete in the GT90's. I never thought I'd need to upgrade from Nat A and so didn't bother with signatures. I spoke to the MSA and they were perfectly happy to accept "final" timing sheets showing that I had completed the required races. Check in the Bue book too as I think you have to demonstrate 6 finishes at a minimum of three different circuits. Cheers mate.
