Anyone going / entering? If so, what you running, and in what class.

I'll be there spinning spanners, but only on the Sunday as it looks like we'll be pulling an all nighter getting one of the cars ready Saturday.

I will be there to support Westfield no 41 (sylva41), it has a PH sticker on the back. We are taking the car tomorrow and will be there all weekend.

Matt172 and Miss Di will be our special guests, although we haven't mentioned that we don't have a hospitality tent and that they have to share a fold out chair.

The usual Quarry Hardcore possy will there both days, always there whatever the weathersmile

The only downside to sunday is the two 50 min radical races if there was more on the grid it may not be so bad,the troble is we're used to bigger grids at Combe maybe we've been very spoilt over the last few years.

Sadly I'm not there this weekend as Castle Combe always sort out their own commentators, shame as I love the G&B and haven't been to Combe for years!!!

I'll be back with the G&B at Donington though.

Instead it's Croft for me this weekend......

Have a good weekend everyone

And don't we know it,we had Ian Sowman do some commentry at easter i think it was he was superb.I'm trying not to knock the circuits own commentators but they do tend to talk some twaddle at times the excitment in the voices is never there and the comment by Andy Blackman of 'tipping it in' is for bikes not cars for gawds sakesmile

Still working on the car. 3 hours to go until it needs to be on the trailer and on the road. Loads to do so must press on.

Please keep the noise down tomorrow as I'll be trying to catch up with sleep in the van.

I was there yesterday doing DMN in my SEAT. Great days racing, shame I didn't get to see the Castle Combe Saloons as they are always good!

Mark we missed you at the weekend.

The circuit commentators drove me mad, they couldn't keep up with what was going on and were not clear or accurate when they gave information (poor visibility perhaps?).

The Westfield races were good, plenty of position changes and no major incidents. Unlike the continually boring but fast Radicals.

Darren (the white 41) had a great race and his quickest lap was faster than he thought possible. We have this filmed too, but it may be 2013 before I can upload it.

Ben, are you going to guest at anymore races (class A needs a win)? (and we liked your good behaviour)

Castle Combe "commentators" are best described as a couple of jolly old chaps having a chat about whats going on, rather than accurate factual commentators. There are better out there (not in one corner of the F1 booth of course), but they ae harmless enough ... The whole point of going to an event is watching for yourself anyway.

I'll be back for the rounds at Donington in a few weeks times & then the remaining G&B's at Brands and Rockingham.

Well done Ben, sounds like you had a good weekend & again the Westies provided typically close racing.

Visibility from both commentary boxes at Combe is pretty good, so that isn't a problem. I'm hoping that I will be asked back next year because it is great fun to work there - who knows, there might be some more new voices too at some point.
