I'm marshalling both days.
from all accounts we are very short of numbers... so - anyone, if your free - then please get in touch with the Chief Marshal - Alistar Garrett via http://www.brsccnw.com
(at the start of the week i believe total numbers were 17 marshals to man the 15 posts around the circuit... that number has risen by about 5 over the last week)
theres £20 a day expenses being provided by the club Classic and Sports Car Club... drivers remember you can get a sig on your license for a day marshalling...

Turbster, dont worry mate the rain will never be as bad as 'that' weekend at Angle-in-the-sea, im not sure ive dried out yet. im sure youll be on the pace mate.
a guy mentioned to me at Loton the other week, that he remembered you and i getting our respective tow vans sideways on the convoy runs! amazing what people remember eh?

Yeah mate, that was a weekend to remember, seem to remember having a few moments in the van....probably better ways to explore the limits of grip a guy mentioned to me at Loton the other week, that he remembered you and i getting our respective tow vans sideways on the convoy runs! amazing what people remember eh?

I'm sure you'll enjoy it Mark, even if the commentary position is somewhat idiosyncratic!
Ian,You're in with the timekeepers I understand. Not sure what configuration we're on, but can you see a reasonable amount from there???
good day on sunday, popped up to cheer on Turbster and another couple of mates in the Swinging Sixties race. dried out nicely for the afternoon, well done Turbster! the 3 scimitars all showed well even if the Lotus 7 coffin dodgem was ultimately too quick for the other cars.
was pleasantly surprised how gentlemenly the racing was, firm but fair with no kamikaze pilots. XJS race was good to watch too, like 25 aircraft carriers doing battle!
am still sun/rain/wind burned though

even tho the 7 caused a red flag with us when his engine died as he came round Rocket, and didnt have enough momentum to get it on the grass out the way, he was most apologetic when he arrived at our post.CNHSS1 said:
