I might bring my racer too as I want to get some Samco piping and it's easier to do it all there.

I'll be there friday night for an ealy morning Qualy, race will be 3rd or fourth (do not have stuff at work)- so about 2:30+ Will park near the Scrut bay.

Tyres and suspension setting - we think we know what was wrong. Fine for 4 laps then tyres over heated and handling went out of the window. We'll have it sorted soon. Not out till Donnington (Cadwell WAYYYY too far)!

Jon - I did call you on Saturday lunchtime but no anwswer and for some reason I couldn't leave a message. I saw your car but missed your race, DOH!! Were you second then?
Great meeting, much bigger than I thought it would be, was surprised at the ticket cost on the Saturday but eventually managed to get in without paying, another story though.
It was good to put a few faces to forum names though, I don't have to imagien what people look like with their clothes on now!!

44 is that all castle Combe saloons have had to be split with over 50 entrys so everybody got a race having said that the other 2 Combe based championships are also oversubscribed which seems to be the norm usually most drivers do end up getting a race if cars fall by the watside during qually which has happend at most meetings this year

Qualy good and race goodtill have waythe tyres cooked - finished 5th over all and 3rd in class (which I am pissed off about!) - lot more grunt than last time out but handling all to st. (Easily sorted).

Dezign Helmets - they did the late David Jefferies (like that so gave them a call), took me months to design it myself before handing it over to them for final tweeking.
