What a disgusting way to behave to a fellow competitor.
Throwing a bike at a competitor's car, kicking it and then spitting in the face of one of the mechanics.

A life-time ban would be my choice, I don't want people with that sort of temper on track with me.

Disgraceful behaviour.

Motor sport is a common enough target for bad press by the media and having louts such as these running riot will only serve to fuel the journos poisonous pens.

Christ just seen this. As you say, for being incapable of controlling your emotions to that extent should have been a lifetime ban. Getting that wound up over club motorsport is incomprehensible, embarrassing for those committing the offences, and somewhat juvenile/pathetic. Seen plenty of instances of people having 'crossed words' after on-track skirmishes, but escalating that to violence is inexcusable.

Bizarre behaviour. The spitting in the face would also be subject to police action too, although no mention of that side of things

They should have stuck to hairdressing

Makes sense, it's only a serious assault, not something mundane like 1mph over a speed limit.

Stick the gormless bullies in a stock car for a few laps they would be crying and pulling off after half a lap.

The problem with tossers like these is they can cause organisers of a race series to think that its not worth the trouble, especially if a few competitors decide to call it a day because of them.
Bans should be instant and permanent to discourage unacceptable behaviour.

I heard it was because they dialed 101 rather than 999 Not sure how that works
