Is it necessary to have a valid road licence to renew a race licence?

As a sponsor, you would drop the mike surely or a team boss.

Yes, MSUK have just had a tightening up of their Regulations, you can't be a Clark of the Course and other official positions whilst you are serving a ban for drink or drug driving.

Never heard of him but was it really necessary to stop him on that bit of the M25, notorious for having some of the worst tailbacks in the country?

Was it THE Jordan Collard or just someone else with the same fairly common name?

Same age and hometown. But let’s still hope it’s someone else - a foolish way to end a career.

The Jordan Collard twitter page has been taken down. https://twitter.com/jordan_collard1 - usually an indicator of wrong doing and a need to escape (anti) social media.

That’s very recently then as I was looking at it just before my post which wasn’t very long ago.

Police ignore most crimes, unless it involves someone in a vehicle who has not actually harmed anyone. And even then, most are not "crimes", but "offences" created for easy fine revenue.

Obviously if someone is inept/unfit for whatever reason, they can be a danger on the roads. Sadly there seem to be no campaigns to target the totally inept/unfit....who are stone cold sober and manage to cause crashes, harm, and injury.

But I would always prefer to see those who have caused crashes, caused harm, caused damage in the courts and removed from the roads, than those who have not.

I can't seem to find that tweet, curious if it's disappeared...

There was a rumour I heard earlier in the year about a racing driver being caught for this on the M25, impeccable source, but discrete enough not to name anyone.

Is he any relation to Ricky Bobby Collard?

In which case a mere blip in his career.

Not sure what your point is, wait until someone has committed a crime before pulling them over? It’s very hard for the police to pull over every numpty who may potentially be at fault in an accident, best to pull over those who stand out by nothing obeying simple rules, chances are the are guilty of other offences

Either way there are pictures of the truck on THE Jordan Collard’s instagram page along with pictures of very fast racing cars including McLarens, BRDC references etc but stupid games, win stupid prizes is the old adage isn’t it….

In a way I feel sorry for him, on face value a stupid decision has cost him severely, on the other hand, this may be a regular occurrence…..

Not only was he stupid enough to be caught driving that pick-up, but 'flexed' it on his Instagram also? Jesus Christ... rofl Driving ban deserved, that pick-up means his hard drive needs checking and he should be on a child protection register.
