ARDS Test Video
Discussion
Hi All,
I have my ARDS test next week. Plans have changed last minute and i have to be abroad until the day of the test. The video is on the USB key in the Motorsport UK starter Pack at home so i don’t have access to it.
I have looked online but cannot find it. Can anyone share the video online if they have it? Would be great if i can watch it again before the test as i last looked months ago.
If i can not get my hands on the video in the meantime, should i be covered with section Q of the 2022 blue book and the flags section in particular?
Many thanks
James

I did mine last month. As said, know the flags and the rest is common sense. The format of the flag question is “which flag would be shown if… “ then you need to state colour and waved or stationary.
Where are you doing it?
On the flag point, don't just write "black and white" for the colour of the flags, make sure you differentiate between the types of black and white flag Where are you doing it?

Thanks for all the helpful replies!
I’ve looked at the flags in the blue book, ben through section Q, and it’s all straightforward.
Sitting the test at Donington tomorrow afternoon - so looks like it’ll be a wet drive. Feel super confident in my 911 in the dry but can’t guarantee i won’t spin in the wet, only have abs ! :-/

Hopefully it's dry for you - but when I did my ards I only needed to drive at about 60% - a spin is a fail, pretty much the only way to fail. An american chap stalled in the pit lane exit and he still passed on mine! I’ve looked at the flags in the blue book, ben through section Q, and it’s all straightforward.

Yes it all went well.
Got to do the driving in the dry just before it rained. All the instructors were very nice and want to help you get your license as everyone here said.
Sounds like the car might be ready for some testing by the end of this week also - very excited! Really looking forward to getting some seat time and first race should be at Donington in June.

Looks like I might be in at Silverstone GP, which I've never even done a TD on, in May.
