Fire extinguisher servicing

My rally car Lifeline plumbed in & hand held extinguishers were new in 2018 & meet latest reg's. They were checked by a local fire company in December 2019 & now need doing again. Can I use them again to check them or do they have to go to a Lifeline Dealer? Do they need new stickers or can they add new dates etc.?

My understanding was that extinguishers now need to be serviced and stickered by its manufacturer authorised agent. I know rally is a little different from circuit but best check the blue book.

That was my understanding also. But believe its written so that the manufacturer decides that:

All extinguishers must be serviced in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines, or every 24 months, whichever is sooner.
