Hi All

Just in the process of getting a second car on track for wahts left od the season and have been looking at how I can get both to the track.

Does anyone have any experience of any of the twin deck trailers that are about?

The cars are 2 Morgans which weight around 800kg each and it'll be towed with a hilux.

I'm open to any other suggestions.

Cheers

John

What is the max a hilux can legally tow? I would imagine 2 Morgan’s plus a trailer to carry them would be over?

I’ve heard double decker trailers are much less stable at speed due to their higher centre of gravity and susceptibility to crosswinds. I’d imagine that two 800kg cars on a double decker coupled with a Hilux and it’s low rear axle weight would be a pretty bad combo

Have a PRG Pro-sporter with a hydraulic deck for two single seaters. Towed with an Iveco Daily twin axle van which had a big towing capacity. Wasn't too bad fully laden but two 500kg single seaters is lighter and more compact than two Mogs. If I was looking at moving two conventional cars, I'd be looking at a beavertail bodied van and a separate trailer, rather than a double deck trailer.
