Brighton Speed Trials under threat.

Brighton Council closed Madeira Drive during the Covid 19 pandemic to allow people to use it for exercise.

Now a small minority are lobbying to ban all motor vehicles permanently.

This would mean the end of all motor events on Madeira Drive and would mean the end of the Brighton Speed Trials as well as other events.

There is a petition on Brighton & Hove council website to reverse the ban.

Already signed the council in Brighton seem he’ll bent on preventing The Speed Trials (it’s a green thing?)

Ah well suppose this sums up Dadsnet, I must be one of those dinosaurs who is still into motorsport, petrol and cars, rather than transgender bisexual dolphin bothering or whatever we are all outraged about this week.

What have you got against transgender bisexual dolphin bothering?

I'd like you to know that all 3 people worldwide who participate in this culturally important sport are very unhappy with you singling them out for abuse and are currently formulating a letter to the guardian in response.

they're just waiting for the renewable lead pencils they bought last year on ebay to renew.
