Condensation problems
Discussion
Hi all, what solutions are there for clearing condensation in the race car on rainy days? The heater matrix is long gone and I’d rather not have to plumb one back in. I’ve plastic windows which I’m happy to drill holes in but will this be effective? The car is like a colander with no seals so it’s not exactly holding air in but it still mists up something awful. Any other solutions?
Heated screen would be great, mine doesn’t appear to be a standard product of theirs but I’ll drop them a line and see what they can do!
I’ve raced with dish soap on the screen before, it actually worked (!) at keeping the moisture away but developed into a translucent film that was probably just as bad for visibility
As far as low-fi options to get done asap, would extra fresh air vents help, maybe ducted to direct outside air at the windows?

I use anti fog on the windscreen and then installed an inline blower like this with some tumble dryer ducting https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Marine-Boat-12V-130CFM-...
Always seems to work well!

Air movement using an in line blower helps:
